Meet the Makers

We are a husband and wife team from Ottawa, Ontario, with a passion for woodworking and design. While we offer a variety of soft and hard woods, From the Ashes was inspired by the fall of the Ash trees across Ontario due to the Ash bore beetle. Slowly but surely, our goal is to repurpose the beautiful wood that came from the countless Ash trees that needed to be cut down across our family’s property.

About the Products

All of our baby and child toys are made from soft and hard woods, many of which are cut right from our family’s property. They are finished with food grade mineral oil and beeswax, for a soft finish that is safe for little teethers.

Customizations

Most of our products can be customized with laser engraving for an additional fee. Please let us know if you would like any laser engraving customizations to your products and we can let you know if it is possible.
